Day Two will focus on examining the global, regional and Japanese economies, and then introduce various industries and firms and organizations that are willing to accept Interns.

二日目はグローバル、アジア環太平洋と日本の経済を分析してから、インターンを受け入れる業界、会社と組織を中心として研修する予定です。

Interviews 面接

On the first day of the Boot Camps, participants will learn how to do good interviews for Internships. The impression you make during interviews are very important. Good interviews lead to successful Internship placements.

インターンシップのブートキャンプ参加者は初日には面接の上手な仕方を学びます。面接での与えられる印象はとても大切です。面接がよく出来れば、もっと良いインターンシップが出来ます。

On the First Day of the Internship Boot Camps: August 1 in Tokyo and Kobe

On the first day of the Boot Camps, participants will learn how to make effective resumes. The contents, length and presentation of resumes are very important. Good resumes lead to successful Internship placements.

Sendai! 仙台！

今日の朝の一番の新幹線で東京駅から仙台駅まで来ました。今日は東京から青森までの新幹線のサービスが再開出来た。
さすが、日本の素晴らしい技術力、効率と早さのよって２ヶ月いない再開出来きたので、感動しました。
3月11日の地震によって、JR仙台駅はかなりダメージがあったが、天井などが治されて駅はもう普通の状態になっています。
今日はいい天気で、ゴルデンウイクが始まるので、皆さんは町を歩いたらり、買い物したり、レストランで食事をしています。
先、ある大学の方と話して、僕たちが提供している特別奨学金によって、何人か東北の大学生が何とか夏休みにカナダやアメリカで
短期留学出来るように合意出来ました。
その後は地元のビジネスの方と相談して、これからもっと外資からの支援が入るようにプランを決めました。
今日は今シズンの初めての楽天ゴルデンイクルズの地元のスタジウムで試合が行う予定です。そのスタジウムの3月11日の地震によってダメージがあったが、
それも治されて今日からやっと試合出来るようになりました。
仙台の皆さんにとっても、東北の皆さんにとっても今日は極めて大事な日です。町の中にはイクルズのジャケットを着たり、カップをかぶたらいしてる方が多いです。
これからスタジウムを向かいます。
試合が始まると皆さんがかなり感動すると思います。楽しみしています。

I came to Sendai on the first Shinkansen that left from Tokyo Station (to Aomori) on the restored service this morning. It is remarkable how quickly the service has been restored and is a tribute to Japanese speed, technical expertise and efficiency.
JR Sendai Station had been greatly damaged in the 3/11 Earthquake, especially the ceiling, but it has been fixed and the station is fully operational.
It is the first day of Golden Week and many people are out shopping, eating, walking and enjoying the nice but cool weather.
I met with university officials to discuss special scholarships we will provide for students in Tohoku to be able to study abroad this summer.
I also met with local business people to discuss specific plans we will work together on to help the Tohoku economy to recover.
Today is the home opener for the Rakuten Golden Eagles baseball team at Kleenex Stadium. They started the season in Kobe while Kleenex Stadium was being restored (it was also damaged in the 3/11 earthquake).
It is a great day for everyone in Sendai and Tohoku as the Eagles are back. Many people are wearing Eagles jerseys and caps. It will be very exciting when they step onto the field and “Play Ball.” Onto the stadium.

The Global Daigaku.com Tokyo office is a depot for donated goods that are being sent to the neediest areas in Tohoku in cooperation with Rescue Japan.
It is very encouraging to see how the communities in Japan and international communities are responding with donations.
